      in informatica 6,7 one repository can handle multiple repositories ,but in inf8 one rep server can handle one rep only
      in inf 6,7 meta data in english language only but in inf 8 metadata can be in many langs

      informatica power center 6&7 are server oriented and power center 8 is service oriented so here in power center 8 only one repository server can manage only one repository where in 6&7 versions one repository server can manage multiple repositories.
